Itinerary: subject to change or shuffling activities around as needed due to weather or other reasons.

  • Day 1: Arrive to LaPaz International Airport and transfer to hotel.

Alternatively, you can fly into Los Cabos International Airport and then take a shuttle 2.5 hrs up to LaPaz.

    Welcome dinner at 6pm.

  • Day 2: Join us for a guided tour of the Whale Museum of La Paz, where we’ll learn about marine ecosystems, conservation, whales, and other sea life while exploring fascinating artifacts.

After the tour, enjoy free time to browse the farmers market, visit nearby museums, stroll the malecón for a delicious local lunch, or relax back at the hotel.

At 4:00pm, meet in the hotel lobby for our foodie and street-art tour. We’ll sample authentic street food and discover the multicultural history of La Paz. Expect tacos, desserts, local candy, breads, traditional drinks, and ingredients from beloved local spots with deep cultural roots. As we walk through the historic district, we’ll hear stories about these culinary traditions, learn recipes, and view amazing street art murals.

Please note: Our foodie tour will serve as our dinner as we will be properly stuffed after this!

  • Day 3: Today is a true highlight! We head to Espíritu Santo Island for a full, action-packed day exploring The Jewel of the Cortez. We’ll snorkel with friendly sea lion pups, hike a canyon, and kayak beneath thousand-foot cliffs and through sea caves. A fast motorboat will take us between key points so we can maximize our time. Along the way, we’ll learn about local ecology, natural history, local mythology and fisherman’s tales.

Return to the hotel around 5:30pm, and meet for our group dinner at 7:00pm.

  • Day 4:  Early departure to La Ventana for our full-day ocean safari in search of massive schools of mobula rays and other large marine life. This is a true adventure tour: we’ll spend most of the day on the boat scanning the Sea of Cortez with our expert local guides on an authentic panga. Depending where the wildlife action is happening, we’ll hop in the water on a moments notice & snorkel as the wildlife allows. We’ll also have the chance to snorkel nearby reefs if wildlife out in the open water is quiet.

We will arrive back to our hotel in the late afternoon.

    6:30pm: Meet for Dinner

  • Day 5: We leave early to arrive at Balandra Bay right as it opens. Enjoy the beach before the afternoon heat peaks. Hike, rent a kayak, wade in the shallow turquoise waters, or relax on the sand.

At noon, we’ll head to Playa Tecolote for lunch before returning to the hotel, where you’ll enjoy a free afternoon to relax, shop, or explore.

Optional Add-On: Sunset Sandboarding at Mogote Sand Dunes
Depart at 4:00pm. We’ll off-road through cactus fields to reach the silky dunes — an underrated gem perfect for sandboarding and soaking in one of La Paz’s iconic golden-hour sunsets.

    Group dinner at 7:30pm.

  • Day 6: We return to La Ventana for another ocean safari. With two outings, we maximize our chances of a spectacular encounter. Even if the wildlife decides to play hide-and-seek, the setting is breathtaking, and we can always enjoy remote, pristine beaches.

We will arrive back to our hotel in late afternoon.

Meet & depart for dinner at 6:30pm.

  • Day 7: Join us mid-morning to cruise the Malecón on quad pedal karts — a super fun, must-do experience in La Paz!

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the rooftop pool or continue exploring museums, parks, shops, and cafés.

    6:30pm: Depart for farewell dinner.

  • Day 8: Farewell breakfast & goodbye until next time!

  • Optional Add On:

This 3-day/2-night expedition around Espíritu Santo will fill your wild heart. The island is a UNESCO World Heritage biosphere reserve, offering stunning natural beauty, abundant marine life, and a sense of peaceful isolation. Experience canyon hikes, surreal turquoise water, deserted beaches, and volcanic cliffs. We’ll camp under a “1,000-star hotel” sky, and if conditions are right, bioluminescence will glow along the shoreline, just feet from our tents.
